Visitor requirements

Dubai’s single-entry tourist visa service lists a personal photograph and passport copy, with a passport valid for at least six months, onward or departure travel and valid UAE medical insurance. An accredited tourism establishment must arrange this route. Confirm the actual category, eligibility and supporting evidence for your passport with the authorised sponsor before committing to travel.

Passport & documents

The UAE government specifies passport validity of at least six months from entry. Confirm the visa category and requirements for your passport and residence through the official government links before purchasing non-refundable arrangements.

Passport Context

Kenyan passport holders

Kenyan ordinary passport holders require an appropriate UAE entry visa before travel unless they qualify under another specific exemption or residence status. Tourist visas are commonly arranged through UAE-based airlines, hotels, tour operators or approved sponsors. Kenyan residents travelling on non-Kenyan passports must follow the rules applicable to their passport nationality.

Kenyan residents using other passports

The stated review scope concerns Kenyan ordinary passports. Kenyan residents travelling on another passport must check rules for that nationality, residence and purpose separately.

Application Route

How and where to apply

Tourist visas may be arranged through qualifying airlines, hotels or travel agencies. For the Dubai single-entry tourism route, GDRFA specifies accredited tourism offices in the emirate. Use the official authority and your confirmed provider to establish the applicable route; do not assume a general online form is open to every applicant.

Processing guidance

GDRFA lists an expected completion time of 48 hours for its Dubai single-entry tourist service. This is a service estimate, not a guaranteed end-to-end time including sponsor checks. Confirm lead time and approval before travel.
