Entry GuidanceWhat to know before travelling to Seychelles
Use the section that matches your travel purpose and passport context.
01Tourist & Leisure
Visitor requirements
No visa is required for a short visit, but an Electronic Travel Authorisation must be obtained before departure. Immigration issues a Visitor’s Permit on arrival if entry conditions are met. Carry return or onward tickets, confirmed accommodation and sufficient funds; the official guidance specifies at least USD 150 or equivalent per day. The initial permit may cover up to three months and is issued without a permit fee; the travel-authorisation service is separate.
Passport & documentsUse a passport or recognised travel document valid throughout the visit and until arrival back in your country of origin or residence.
02Business Travel
Business requirements
The Visitor’s Permit also covers qualifying business visits. Employment, including paid or unpaid full-time or part-time work, requires the applicable Gainful Occupation Permit. Confirm the intended activity with Immigration before travelling.
03Passport Context
Kenyan passport holders
Kenyan ordinary passport visitors follow the visa-free visitor route, including pre-departure travel authorisation and arrival checks. This does not guarantee admission or permission to work.
Kenyan residents using other passportsThis review covers Kenyan ordinary passports. Kenyan residents travelling on another passport must check the official rules for that nationality, purpose and residence status.
04Application Route
How and where to apply
