About Sunward
Sunward's story was shaped by a travel experience that demonstrated how much trust matters. In 2014, founder Fredrick Mwashi encountered a group of Kenyan students at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport whose educational trip abroad had been disrupted after arrangements made through unlicensed intermediaries failed. Drawing on his travel-industry experience and airline relationships, he helped find an alternative way forward.
