Eastern Heritage Trail – Meru, Isiolo & Tharaka

6 Days

Untamed Beauty & Cultural Treasures on Kenya’s Frontier

The Eastern Heritage Trail is a journey into Kenya’s lesser-known frontier—a vibrant blend of wild landscapes, deeply rooted traditions, and raw authenticity. From the lush rainforests of Meru to the sun-kissed savannahs of Isiolo and the sacred hills of Tharaka, this trail reveals an Africa untouched by mass tourism. This circuit is perfect for repeat travelers, culture seekers, and those looking to go off the beaten path. It is also home to George and Joy Adamson’s lion legacy, sacred shrines, unique festivals, and communities whose heritage has remained preserved for centuries
